I came across the idea of the 365 days photography challenge through chance while researching the net on various new photographers. I thought the idea a wonderful way of going about improving one’s skill and creativity in a kind of forceful way. There was no getting out of it.
Having always loved challenges, I didn’t think twice and jumped at this exciting project. A lot of the 365 projects out there consist of taking a photograph on a different theme or subject every day. This seemed a bit boring to me and I didn’t think I’d be able to keep it up. I wanted to stick with only one theme but execute it with a different idea daily. I wanted to have access to a model whom I could experiment with without any issues. Ofcourse that then turned out to be myself… A subject that has taken me my whole life to figure out, and now maybe I could discover something new. 🙂
So I began this journey April, 2015 and even though I have tried not to skip one day, I have not been totally successful. Sometimes sick, sometimes tired, sometimes not in the mood, and sometimes a failed attempt. But taking a picture daily is not the difficult part but the post production takes some time and uploading is very difficult the same day. It has not been an easy task, but yes it is very exciting!
So now I have approximately 350-something more ideas to come up with……… 🙂
